When choosing accommodation, we were looking for somewhere that had villas with nice surroundings and personalised service. We got just that and so much more at Rising Sun Residence! The villas are nicely decorated with good quality finishings and furniture and they here a very homely feel. Every time we swam in the pool, one of us would say something like “How nice is this?” The gardens are beautiful and so well maintained, giving a very relaxed feel. The housekeeping service from Chaloaw was fantastic. She was so sweet friendly and polite. I wish I could take her home with me!

Benja made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. She is so warm & friendly and provided us with excellent service, making us feel like royalty!

Our driver, Khun Mit was also very good. Having a driver was a wonderful bonus!

A big thank you to Methee and Wipa, you have been amazing hosts, providing such a personalised service, far beyond what we expected. We definitely agree with other guests’ comments that you made us feel like part of the family. We had a lovely dinner with you and really appreciated your hospitality and your company. We will highly recommend Rising Sun Residence to our family and friends, and look forward to coming back ourselves.

Wow! What an amazing place. Thank you all so much for making our stay so memorable, it was the perfect way to end our Thailand holiday. The venue here is breathtakingly beautiful, the villas are spotlessly clean and beautifully appointed, the pool area is divine, the details in everything make it even more special. And what incredible service!! We have never encountered better and more personal service anywhere. A big thank you to Benja, Khun Mit & Chaloaw who have each been amazing. We loved our dinner with you Methee & Wipa, the best Thai food and wonderful hosts! Everything here has surpassed our expeditions, we truly did feel like extended family. Also all of your restaurant recommendations have been fantastic, giving us our favourite dining experiences here. Even the Thai massage was the best (and we have had many!)

We would like to thank you and all your staff for their help and kindness during our stay. The villa-housekeeper really makes us happy with our morning breakfast. This was an excellent way to start the day with smile and fresh toast and neatly presented cooked food and drinks. My wife was also so happy when we came home from a trip to find the fruit cut and prepared in the refrigerator ready to eat as soon as we came home.

Ben helped us with our constant moving of our time table. She and the villa- housekeeper are rally great advert for the resort. We will be telling everyone we know about this Residence and the friendly homely atmosphere.

We can see how Wipa & Methee have worked hard to create a great feeling in this place and now we realize we should have booked for longer.

We will be back for a longer stay and enjoy this mood again soon.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay in beautiful villas. It has started to feel like our second home.

Your attention to detail, attention to detail and personal touch has ensured our stay was memorable.

We have made many trips overseas and no stay has allowed us to build so many friendships. The staff has made us feel like extended family, always providing us with a smile and happy face. Special thanks to Khun Mit for driving us around Phuket for shopping, sightseeing and for meals at local markets & eateries.

Thank you very much for everything you have provided for us. We had really wonderful time here. It’s absolutely hassle free and completely relaxing. We just hoped our holiday could be longer. The restaurants you recommended were always great. We also enjoyed the Coral Island trip very much.

You have all been so kind and attentive, like your other guests, we feel “Thank you” alone is not enough! Nonetheless, A big thank you to Mameaw first, for organizing so many wonderful evenings out at superb restaurants for us and even letting us chance villas after a particularly frog kept us awake one night!! Secondly, to our three drivers Khun Mit, Khun Jeab and Khun Sit for patiently chauffeuring us all over this beautiful island and thirdly to Joy our housekeeper who so discreetly waited on us hand and foot at breakfast every morning and kept our villa clean. Without the help of all of you, this would not have been the fantastic holiday it has turned out to be.

We leave with sadness but take with us a multitude of happy memories and the peace and tranquility here have restored our sanity and undoubtedly “recharged the batteries”! I would love to think we could return before too long.

This was a great holiday. I will say it is the best holiday I have had yet. Every meal was fantastic and you really introduced me to crab, crayfish, lobsters and other seafood.
